Basic Information

Dining

Guests at Hakone Tokinoshizuku can indulge in a delightful fusion of Japanese and Western cuisine. This dining experience is designed to tantalize both the eyes and the palate, with dishes carefully plated in front of guests and desserts artfully decorated. The menu features handmade soba noodles crafted from 100% buckwheat and seasonal seafood dishes, providing a gourmet experience that is both traditional and innovative.

Room

Each suite at Hakone Tokinoshizuku combines classical elements with modern amenities. While the building retains the charm of a traditional Japanese ryokan, it is important to note that some aspects of the structure are older and not as pristine as a new luxury hotel. However, all rooms are meticulously cleaned and spacious, offering a comfortable stay. The blend of traditional Japanese architecture and modern touches provides a unique and authentic experience, making it an excellent choice for those looking to enjoy the fusion of Japan’s cultural heritage and contemporary comforts.

Onsen

Hakone Tokinoshizuku boasts two private hot spring sources on the premises. Each suite features a private open-air bath made from pristine Japanese cypress, providing a refreshing and rejuvenating experience. The hot spring water is rich in magnesium, calcium, and sodium, offering numerous health benefits. The ryokan takes pride in maintaining the freshness and purity of the hot springs by not recycling the water and avoiding chlorine disinfectants. A dedicated concierge team adjusts the bath temperatures daily, ensuring the perfect soak regardless of weather conditions.
