Onsen (hot springs)

Guests can enjoy two distinct hot spring experiences:

Communal Bath Area: Includes an outdoor hot spring, sauna, and cold plunge bath, designed for a traditional hot spring experience.

Private Spa & Bar: Offers a private retreat with a semi-open-air hot spring and a sauna. This space allows guests to enjoy beverages while relaxing in the hot spring, combining both comfort and indulgence.

The Presidential Suite

One of the standout features of Bar Hotel Hakone Kazan is the Presidential Suite. This spacious suite offers a lovely view of Hakone and includes its own bar and outdoor hot spring. With separate living and sleeping areas, it’s ideal for both relaxing and hosting small gatherings.

Access

By Car

  • From central Tokyo: Approximately 2 hours
  • From Odawara Station: Approximately 40 minutes
  • Free parking available

By Train

  • From Shinjuku Station: Take the Odakyu Romancecar to Hakone-Yumoto Station (about 90 minutes).
  • From Tokyo Station: Take the JR Tokaido Shinkansen to Odawara Station (about 35 minutes) or the JR Tokaido Main Line (about 60 minutes).
  • From Nagoya Station: Take the JR Tokaido Shinkansen to Odawara Station (about 70 minutes).
  • From Hakone-Yumoto Station: Take the Hakone Tozan Bus or Izu Hakone Bus to the “Hōraien” bus stop (about 20 minutes), then walk for about 5 minutes. The bus runs every 30-60 minutes.

Hotel Shuttle:

  • The hotel provides a complimentary shuttle service from major nearby stations and attractions, including:
    • Hakone Sculpture Museum Station
    • Hakone Tozan Bus and Izu Hakone Bus stops (“Yunessun-mae” and “Kowakien”)
